Having a detailed solar panel layout / String layout is a must when it comes to larger solar PV projects. It will make sure that panel installation will take place as planned. The layouts are done using AutoCAD.
The panel layout will include all relevant details like skylights, roof vents, wire pathways, walking pathways etc, and keeping provisions for them. These will be drawn in separate layers in AutoCAD.
